WHAT HAPPENED?
The former Liverpool star failed to convert a penalty as Al-Nassr were held to a 1-1 draw by Portuguese fourth-division side Louletano DC in their first pre-season friendly on Sunday. The Saudi Pro League giants were trailing at halftime, however, Mohammed Maran's 55th-minute strike made sure that Ronaldo's team avoided embarrassment.

Al-Nassr were without the services of Cristiano Ronaldo, who is enjoying a vacation with his family after Portugal's heartbreaking exit from the quarter-final of Euro 2024. The 39-year-old, personally, had a nightmare outing in the European Championship as for the first time in his career, the star striker failed to score a goal in a major tournament.
